Congratulations to the following Upstream News staff writers for being recognized by the Interscholastic League Press Conference of Texas UIL:

Julian Namerow won third place for her personal column “Silent Killer”

Brooke Ferrell won third place for her sports column and honorable mention for her sports action photo in “Bouldering: an exciting alternative to exercise”

Hilary Nguyen won honorable mention for headline writing for “Op-Ed: Elizabeth Holmes girlbossed too close to the sun”
