Lauren Tooms is a Junior at CVHS, and this is her first year writing for The Upstream as a staff writer. She likes to cook, play badminton, and listen to music in her spare time. She also volunteers at the SPCA whenever she gets a chance. She is interested in majoring in microbiology, and wishes to become a doctor in the future.
