Cherry is a 10th grader at Carnegie Vanguard Highschool. In her spare time she enjoys skateboarding, drawing, and listening to music. Her thought process as a writer here at the upstream news is composed of multiple formats — visual, textual, and auditory. She enjoys putting ideas together and using multimedia to express herself. Even through fashion! She embodies a range of “streetwear and 2000s fashion” which varies from day to day. Tying heavily to her roots, she also believes in the idea of authenticity, no matter the subject or conversation!
